Die Bibliographie der Buch- und Bibliotheksgeschichte ist eine deutschsprachige Fachbibliographie zur Buch- und Bibliotheksgeschichte (BBB). Sie wurde von Horst Meyer bearbeitet und erschien von 1982 (Berichtszeitraum 1980/81) bis 2004 (Berichtszeitraum 2002/03) in 23 Bänden im „Bibliographischen Verlag Horst Meyer“, Bad Iburg (ISSN 0723-3590). 2007 wurde die Bibliographie im Wissenschaftsportal b2i in elektronischer Form zugänglich gemacht.

Durch den FID BBI wurden folgende Anpassungen wurden getätigt:

• Unterscheidung zwischen Monografie und Artikel mit Hilfe des Felds fullRecord; bei Vorkommen der Zeichenkette In: ... oder einem Seitenbereich wie S. 12-23 im Fullrecord wird von einem bibliografisch unselbstständigen Werk, d. h. Artikel ausgegangen; bei Vorhandensein vom String . - im Fullrecord oder einer Seitenzahl oder Verlag und Erscheinungsort von einer Monografie, sonst "Unbekannt"
• Ergänzen von DDC, BKL, Schlagwort und zugehöriger GND-Nummer entsprechend der Kategoriennummern (für die Aufschlüsselung s. Tabelle 1)
• Ergänzen von Autoren aus dem Fullrecord, wenn Feld autor leer ist (wenn möglich)
• Zerlegung von mehrteiligen Personenangaben wie Leimbach, Rainer und Uwe Reichel in einzelnen Personen; Entfernung von Zeichenketten wie und, and und et
• Entfernung von Funktionsangaben hinter den Personennamen wie [Hrsg.] etc.
• Ergänzen von Titelzusatz Rezension bei Vorhandensein vom String - R: im Fullrecord
• Ergänzen des Rezensierten aus Feld autor zum Hauptsachtitel bei Vorhandensein vom String - R: im Fullrecord
• Ergänzen der Umfangsangaben wie 320 S., Ill. aus Fullrecord mittels Regex (wenn möglich)
• Ergänzen der Rezensenten (auch mehrere) aus Fullrecord mittels Regex (wenn möglich)
• Ergänzen von Erscheinungsort aus Fullrecord mittels Regex, wenn Feld erscheinungsort leer (wenn möglich)
• Ergänzen von Verlag aus Fullrecord mittels Regex, wenn Feld verlag leer (wenn möglich)
• Ergänzen von Erscheinungsjahr aus Fullrecord mittels Regex, wenn Feld erscheinungsjahr leer (wenn möglich)
• Ergänzen der Zeitschrift aus Fullrecord mittels Regex, wenn Feld erschienenIn leer
• Ergänzen der Seitenzahl bei Artikeln (32. S.), ermitteln aus der Seitenangabe (S. 23-54) im Fullrecord (wenn möglich)

Bibliography of Book and Library History by Horst Meyer, revised by the Specialized Information Program on Book Studies, Library and Information Science

The Bibliography of Book and Library History is a German-language specialized bibliography on book and library history. It was edited by Horst Meyer and published from 1982 (reporting period 1980/81) to 2004 (reporting period 2002/03) in 23 volumes by "Bibliographischer Verlag Horst Meyer", Bad Iburg (ISSN 0723-3590). In 2007, the bibliography was made available in electronic form on the b2i science portal.

The following adjustments were made by the Specialized Information Program on Book Studies, Library and Information Science:

• Differentiation between monograph and article using the fullRecord field; in the case of the character string In: ... or a page range such as pp. 12-23 in the fullrecord an article is assumed; in the case of the string . - in the fullrecord or a page number or publisher and place of publication, a monograph is assumed, otherwise "Unknown"
• Addition of DDC, BKL, keyword and associated GND number according to the category numbers
• Addition of authors from the full record if the author field is empty (if possible)
• Separation of multi-part personal details such as "Leimbach, Rainer and Uwe Reichel" into individual persons; removal of character strings such as "und", "and" and "et"
• Removal of function details after personal names such as [ed.] etc.
• Addition of title addition "review" in case of the string - R: in the full record
• Addition of the name of the reviewed author from the author field to the main title if the string - R: is present in the full record
• Addition of volume details such as 320 p., ill. from fullrecord using regex (if possible)
• Addition of reviewers (also several) from fullrecord using regex (if possible)
• Addition of place of publication from fullrecord using regex, if field place of publication is empty (if possible)
• Addition of publisher from fullrecord using regex, if field publisher is empty (if possible)
• Addition of the publishing house from fullrecord via regex, if field publishing house is empty (if possible)
• Addition of the year of publication from fullrecord using regex, if field year of publication is empty (if possible)
• Addition of the journal title from fullrecord using regex, if field erschienenIn is empty
• Addition of the page number for articles (32nd p.), determined from the page number (p. 23-54) in the full record (if possible)
