# An exemplary digital edition of G.E. Lessing's writings based on "Ernst and Falk"
This two-year impulse project focuses on editing selected prints of the Masonic dialog "Ernst and Falk" in preparation for a complete digital edition of Gotthold Ephraim Lessing's writings. The aim is to create a historical-critical edition that maps the complex genesis of the text and the history of printing as comprehensively as possible and provides interfaces for a variety of text analysis tools.
